Bearing arrangement comprises a fixed bearing and a movable bearing. The movable bearing can compensate for axial shifts and alignment errors between the bearing rings. The movable bearing has an inner bearing ring axially connected to a shaft. The outer ring is fixed to the bearing housing which has axially extending devices which penetrate corresponding recesses in the lateral end surfaces of the roller casings. The recesses have a larger axial depth than the axial extension of the axially extending devices of the housing. Axial movement caused by thermal expansion can be accepted within the movable bearing.
