The blind has a housing (1) with a slit through which the blind can be deployed and retracted, and has a mechanism that allows the housing's position to be modified relative to its support, i.e. by varying its angular position about an axis parallel and/or perpendicular to its lengthwise axis. The adjuster mechanism consists of a screw thread (4) interacting with a nut (5) in the end of the housing that can be rotated manually via a notched outer surface. A variant of the design has motorised operation.
