The internal admission or exhaust conduit (10) of a cylinder head (12) comprises upstream (14) and downstream (20) sections through which the valve (24) passes. The method comprises first casting the cylinder head and then grinding the lower orifice (26) of the front section which emerges in the cylinder head lower face (22). Finally a connecting zone (25) of the upstream and downstream sections is milled during with several milling axes perpendicular to the cylinder head lower face in order to eliminate excess cylinder head material resulting from the casting stage.
