PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and convenience when an image is formed through communication media. SOLUTION: When a digital hybrid machine 1001 performs local copying processing based upon image data obtained by reading a document by a scanner 2070, state information on printers 2902 and 2903 is obtained to make it possible to select a remote printer to perform remote copying processing based upon the same image data except the digital copying machine 1001 according to the obtained state information; when the remote printer is selected, the remote printer is controlled to take a copy based upon the same image data, so that the remote copying can be performed during the local copying. |
