PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for generating sensor output by a system for displaying a sensor fault by detecting negative offset shift with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: An excessive negative offset of a sensor that can freely respond to a state for example, a full Wheatstone bridge element (10) that can freely respond to pressure and a circuit interlocked with the bridge element (10) is detected by desirably fetching the output signal of the sensor after compensating for a signal with respect to both a gain and an offset, comparing a signal (VX) with a reference voltage (VREF1) selected so as to show a stimulating input state that can not be obtained and driving a signal to be compensated for at the time whether signal to be compensated surpasses the reference voltage up to a fault level.
