PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a snapshot of a dynamic display image to a printer with high resolution at high speed. SOLUTION: This computer graphics apparatus processes data defining a computer model to generate display data defining a sequence of two-dimensional display images which change as the computer model varies over time, for display to a user. The computer graphics apparatus is also able to generate static image data corresponding to an image displayed in response to an initial signal. To ensure that the image displayed when the initial signal is received corresponds to the static image data, the computer apparatus detects modification of the computer model following the reception of the initial signal and stores recovery data making it possible to generate the computer model corresponding to the display image when the initial signal is received by using the computer model modified following the reception of the initial signal.
