<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake having self-boosting effect for braking action and, in particular, a disc brake having a simple configuration in comparison with a known type and effective self-boosting property and capable of operating securely even during the operation for a long time. SOLUTION: An interval in the radial direction between a brake disc axial line 19 and a support unit is set to be larger than an interval in the radial direction between the brake disc axial line 19 and an action point 6 of a force of a brake shoe 22 capable of moving freely in a limited scope so that the brake shoe 22 moves in the direction of a brake disc peripheral part when pressed toward a brake disc 40, an inclined face provided in a feed path of the brake shoe 22 is extended in the radial direction, and a force in the direction of the brake disc peripheral part is converted into an additional pressing force due to wedge effect.</p> |
