<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail structure, in which a handrail can be installed easily and which is not a hindrance to the opening and closing of a sliding door, a movable fitting section or the like and the entrance and exit of a person in the case of nonuse and has a simple structure and is mounted easily and the cost of which is reduced, in the handrail structure secured to an entrance section or the like, to which a sliding door or a movable fitting section for a Japanese style building residence is arranged. SOLUTION: The handrail structure is composed of the first handrails 15a and 16a having extensible joints 19 and 32 at front ends and the second handrails 15b and 16b, the first handrails 15a and 16a and the second handrails 15b and 16b are fixed rotatably onto posts 10, 11 and 12 at positions where the joints 19 and 32 elongated in an approximately horizontal posture can be engaged with the second handrails 15b and 16b through engaging mechanisms, the handrail can be secured easily to the entrance section, to which the sliding doors 13 and 14 and the movable fitting sections are arranged, the handrail structure is not a hindrance to the opening and closing of the sliding doors and the movable fitting sections or the like and the entrance and exit of persons in the case of nonuse, and the structure is simplified and the handrail structure is fitted easily and cost is reduced.</p> |
