PURPOSE: A method for storing a callback number in an SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to simply store the callback number of the other side, who sent a message, and a desired reply message and to achieve message transmission to the stored callback number using a speed-dial key. CONSTITUTION: If the second user clicks on a callback number storage button through the input part of his/her wireless terminal after receiving an SMS message from the first user and confirming the content(302,304), a control part in the second user's wireless terminal judges it as a callback number storage command for the SMS message and stores the telephone number of the first user in a storage part. Then the control part enters an SMS preparation mode(306). If the second user clicks on the SEND button after making out a message in the SMS preparation mode(310), the control part directly transmits the message to the callback number through a transceiver part(312,314). Also the second user can transmit the message later(312). In this case, the second user can store the message and the callback number in the storage part using an abbreviated key(316).
