The anti-skid device consists of a series of a variety of elements (15), which cover the active surface of the tyre as well as the sides. The elements are easily interchangeable, as required, and are made of sheet steel, moulded into rubber (2). They are linked together by two lateral cables (3), to which they are attached by buckles (16) and clips at each end. The cables are fixed on to the closing elements (5, 6) by means of anchorage pins.
