The arrangement has a variable throughput compressor (12) with external control, an evaporator (20) that can carry an air flow for delivery to the interior, a computer (26), a comparator (30), and a controller (14) that controls the compressor depending on the demand temperature downstream of the evaporator if it is lower than a limiting demand temperature or depending on the limiting demand temperature downstream of the evaporator.
