PURPOSE: A bubble generation adjacent to a wet liner is minimized when circulating a cooling water through a water jacket, thereby preventing damage of the liner, and improve engine performance. CONSTITUTION: A wet liner(11) is connected inside of a cylinder block(10), and a water jacket(13) to circulate a cooling water is formed between the wet liner and the cylinder block. Three O-ring(12) is installed in a constant interval between the cylinder block and the wet liner to prevent leakage of a cooling water. One side wall of the cylinder block forming the water jacket is made to be inclined forming a taper portion(14). The angle between the taper portion and the wet liner is 15 degree.
