PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating apparatus, in which refrigerating machine oil is easy to return to a compressor. SOLUTION: In a refrigerant circuit (20) on the high temperature side, the piping is arranged so that the refrigerant flows from the below to the upside in an indoor heat-exchanger (81), and the refrigerant flows from the upside to the downside in an evaporator (101) for refrigeration, and further the refrigerant flows from the upside to downside in a primary side flow path (111a) of a cascade heat exchanger (111). While in the refrigerant circuit on the low temperature side, the piping is arranged so that the refrigerant flows from the upside to the downside in an evaporator for refrigeration.
