PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information trunk system that facilitates exchange of information between information terminals whose signal processing systems differ from each other. SOLUTION: When an information read section 10 reads information from an information storage section 12 according to an information read command sent from an information terminal 3, an information form conversion section 8 converts a form of the read information into a form corresponding to a signal processing system of the information terminal 3 transmitting the command and outputs the information after the conversion to the information terminal 3 transmitting the command on the basis of the signal processing system of the information terminal 3 transmitting the command discriminated by a signal processing system discrimination section 7 according to a transmission signal from the information terminal 3 transmitting the command. For example, one of two information terminals whose signal processing systems differ from each other stores information to the information storage section 12 and the other reads the information as mentioned above so as to facilitate exchange of the information between the information terminals whose signal processing systems differ from each other.
