PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift select device capable of driving each fork shaft in a predetermined direction without impairing a shift feeling when shift- operating a shift lever in the same direction at a plurality of select positions. SOLUTION: This shift select device for a transmission is comprised of a first lever 11 protruding from a shift and select shaft 10 moving in the axial direction by the select operation of the shift lever and turning by the shift operation by orthogonally crossing it, a second lever 12 protruding from the shift and select shaft in the opposite direction to the first lever, first fork shafts 31, 33, 34 on which first shift heads 41, 43, 44 are fixed orthogonal to the shift and select shaft on a side where the first lever protrudes and engaging with the first lever are fixed; and a second fork shaft 32 on which a second shift head 20 which is arranged on the same side as the first fork shaft in parallel with it and in which the second lever is engaged with the opposite side of the first fork shafts for the shift and select shaft is fixed and which moves in the opposite axial direction to the first fork shafts.
