PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the maintenance of a tension material by accurately and easily grasping tension applied to the tension material to know the soundness. SOLUTION: Stress measurement is executed on a nut 13 that applies tension T to the tension material 11, using a magnetostrictive sensor to two measuring points spaced in the acting direction of the tension T. The difference of stress obtained at both measuring points is obtained, and the tension T is evaluated on the basis of the difference.
