PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a drafted fiber bundle to be collected completely without contact by the action of air flow in an apparatus for drafting the fiber bundle. SOLUTION: A collecting nozzle N for collecting the fiber bundle by the air flow, and having a double tube structure is arranged among a pair of front rollers R1 constituting a main draft zone Z1, and a pair of delivery rollers R4 arranged at the downstream side of the front rollers R1 in the apparatus for drafting the fiber bundle, having two zones for main draft and break draft. The collecting nozzle N is composed of an inside nozzle N1 having an inner space formed into a fiber bundle passage 5, and an outside nozzle N2 fitted on the outside of the inside nozzle N1 to form a ring-shaped space between both nozzles N1 and N2, formed into an air passage 1 of a low-pressure air flow introduced from the outside. The upstream side of the air passage 1 is closed, and the upstream side opening of the inside nozzle N1 is formed into a nozzle inlet 2. The cross section area of the downstream side opening of the air passage 1 is suddenly reduced and joined to the fiber bundle passage 5.
