OUTDOOR RADIO FREQUENCY CARRIER CHANGER

PURPOSE: An outdoor radio frequency carrier changer is provided to supply a dummy frequency to smoothly execute an inter-frequency handover at a propagation shadow zone, such as a roaming boundary zone, or a handover generated area in the case of providing roaming service. CONSTITUTION: A signal is received to a receiving antenna(210) through the first frequency channel of the first base station that provides roaming service. A receiving band pass filer(220) passes only a permitted band component among the received signal. Then the signal passed through the band pass filer(220) is amplified by a low noise amplifier(230) that minimizes the noise contained in the signal. A carrier changer(400) generates a handoff dummy frequency signal in a frequency hopping method on the basis of a frequency created from an oscillator(240). The signal generated from the carrier changer(400) is amplified through a high power amplifier(250). Then the amplified signal is passed through a transmitting band pass filter(260), and radiated to a handover generated area or a roaming boundary zone through a transmitting antenna(270).
