PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a card processor which is a very adaptable, small-sized device, eliminates the need for large-scale alternations of an existent POS system, is economical and good in operability, and can restrain illegal operation. SOLUTION: The card processor is equipped with a card information read means which reads the customer ID and cumulative given points of a customer card, a given point arithmetic means which adds or subtracts given points corresponding to an article or service newly sold to or provided for the customer to or from the read cumulative given points, and a card information writing means which writes the result of the addition or subtraction as new cumulative given points to the customer card, and further equipped with an operator ID input means for inputting an identification code capable of specifying an operator of the processor and a transaction information storage device wherein transaction information on the article or service sold to or provided for the customer is stored while related to the operator ID. |
