<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling combination operation of cooling and heating operation and air cleaning operation to generate a sufficient air cleaning effect without damaging cooling heating capacity by uniformizing air velocity distribution of air sucked from a plurality of suction ports and passing through a heat exchanger and an air cleaning unit. SOLUTION: A plurality of front opening and closing louvers 9 are formed that a vertical size is increased with the progress of extension of the louver from the lower part of a suction port 5, formed in the central part of a front, to an upper part. A plurality of upper surface opening closing louvers 10 are formed that a longitudinal size is increased with the progress of extension of the louver from the rear part of the suction port 5, formed in an upper surface, to a front part. This constitution uniformalizes air velocity distribution of a spot, where air resistance is increased as a result of a part of a heat exchanger 7 formed approximately in a V-shape as seen from a side view and an air cleaning unit 12 being doubly situated, and a spot where air easily passes since it is positioned near an air supply fan 8.</p> |
