PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loud speaker driving method and a loud speaker driver that can provide specific information to a specific place but will not distribute guidance or music to unnecessary places, so as to keep the interior of a shop and a vehicle quiet. SOLUTION: Loud speakers 2L, 2R are placed on a table 1, a sensor 4 senses the presence of persons taking seats in the vicinity of the loud speakers, a loud speaker switch 7 is turned on to supply a sound signal to the loud speakers, only during the time the sensor senses the presence of the persons taking seats, and the loud speaker switch 7 is turned off, when persons leave the seats. When the persons taking seats depress an off switch 6, the loud speaker switch 7 is turned off, even if there are persons present so as to output no sound from the loud speakers 2L, 2R.
