PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To soften direct sunlight into a room besides preventing the infiltration of wind, rain and snow to protect the washing in a veranda and further to attain a crime prevention effect. SOLUTION: A storage part 9 is additionally provided along the outer edge of a ceiling part 6 of the veranda 2. A shutter 13 accommodated in the storage part 9 is changed into a protective attitude (G) hanging from the storage part 9 to prevent the infiltration of wind and rain from an opening 7 between an outer surface spandrel wall 5 and the ceiling part 6 of the veranda 2.
