摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a damping material having a wide glass transition temperature range and a high loss modulus (E"). SOLUTION: This complex form damping material comprises a low-molecular-weight compound having <=10,000 molecular weight and a glass transition point functioning as a vibration-damping property imparter, first one or more kinds of polymers having compatibility with the compound and second one or more kinds of polymers having no compatibility with the compound. The vibration-damping property imparter is crystallized. The complex form damping material has a sea-island structure in which an island structure consisting essentially of a vibration-damping property imparting material formed in a phase of shape having the ratio of length to the major axis of the cross section of needle shape to 1 and the first polymers is dispersed into the second polymer phase. The low-molecular-weight compound functioning as the vibration-damping property imparter and the first one or more kinds of polymers are heated into a uniform compatible state, the main component is blended with the second one or more kinds of polymers to form a molding in which the island structure of the first polymers and the vibration-damping property imparter in a compatible state is dispersed into the sea of the second polymers and the vibration-damping property imparter in the island structure is crystallized to give the objective complex form damping material.
