The present invention relates to a filter media coated by nanosheet-type graphene oxide which has a simple production process, reduces production time, and can continuously filter, remove and treat toxic heavy metal ions and radioactive isotope ions, and to a producing method thereof. The filter media coated by nanosheet-type graphene oxide for removing heavy metal and radioactive substances comprises a carrier coated by the graphene oxide nanosheet.
