System for computer assisted selling for use by a retailer comprising equipment for taking orders, a sales terminal and a server assuring communication between the system equipment. The server comprises means for recording data originating from the order taking equipment and for calculating and analyzing data in the so created database to generate interactive messages to send to the ordering or sales equipment.
