The invention concerns a wheel (1), having first and second outward sloping seats (13) and a cylindrical wall designed to support a support ring, consisting of an assembly: of a disc (21) comprising a hub bearing, a transition zone and a radially outer edge whereof the geometry forms the first seat and a first part of the cylindrical wall; and of a rim (30) including a plurality of cavities and so designed that its radially outer wall corresponds to a second seat and to the matching part of the cylindrical wall; the assembly being produced at the end of the rim on the side of the disc at the cylindrical wall and at the end of the radially inner wall of the rim.
