A multiple antenna mode control method based on an Access Point, includes the steps: step 1, the Access Point periodically sends out a multiple antenna mode set or subset supported by the Access Point (S101); step 2, the Station reports a multiple antenna mode set or subset supported by the Station or a multiple antenna mode set or subset supported by both the Station and the Access Point to the Access Point (S105); step 3, a multiple antenna mode is chosen from the multiple antenna mode set or subset supported by both the Station and the Access Point for communication (S110). As a result, by the way, the Station and the Access Point can communicate with a reliable or high-speed multiple antenna mode supported by both sides, thereby, the error frame rate is reduced, and the network throughput is increased. |
