PURPOSE: Provided are a composition for removing the viscosity of a paint and its preparation method, which is used to remove the viscosity of a paint dropped in a coating booth due to over-spraying. CONSTITUTION: The composition for removing the viscosity of a paint comprises 4.5-10.5 parts by weight of melamine; 9-15 parts by weight of form aldehyde; 2-8 parts by weight of HCl; 34.5-46.5 parts by weight of water; and 0.7-2.7 parts by weight of triethanolamine. The method comprises the steps of adding 30-36 parts by weight of water to a reactor and heating it until the temperature is 70±10 deg.C and the pressure is -5; adding 4.5-10.5 parts by weight of melamine and 9-15 parts by weight of form aldehyde to the reactor, and heating it with stirring until the aqueous solution is transparent; and adding 39-45 parts by weight of water, 2-8 parts by weight of HCl and 0.7-2.7 parts by weight of triethanolamine to the reactor, and stirring it for 10-20 min. |
