FIELD: telecommunications.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and device for formation of optical fibres and, in particular, relates to method of producing optical fibre for forming and cooling of optical fibre. Optical fibre is drawn from billet in furnace and passes through processing device at low pressure in range 0.01-0.80 atm. Processing device cools an uncoated optical fibre so that it is cooled to, at least, from 1,600 °C to 1,300 °C. To ensure optical fibre alignment at outlet from processing device, near output of processing device there is contact-free fibre centering device.EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of defects of structure of optical fibre.19 cl, 13 dwg |
