The car has rear seats whose backs (14, 16) can be lowered to rest on the seat cushions (18, 20). When they are upright they are held in position by bolts (50, 52) which connect them to the bodywork. These are released by a control unit (94) which also controls lowering mechanisms (44) at the base of the seat.
