The present invention concerns a transcription factor, Bridge-1. More specifically, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding Bridge-1. Recombinant methods for making Bridge-1 polypeptides are also provided as are Bridge-1 antibodies. Screening methods are also provided for identifying polypeptides that bind to Bridge-1 or a Bridge-1 fragment, such as a fragment containing PDZ-like binding domain of Bridge-1.
