PURPOSE: A shock absorber of a vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency as decreasing weight of a vehicle by changing damping effect according to weight of a vehicle or driving condition, and to perform maintenance and repair easily as having simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber of a vehicle consists of a cylinder(100) having a closed part(110) with a first connecting ring(510) in one side and an opening(120) in the other side, and increasing as the inside goes to the opening; incompressible fluid(200a) filled in the inner part of the cylinder; a first piston(310) formed to be movable inside of the cylinder and decompressing the incompressible fluid; a second piston(320) formed to be movable inside of the cylinder to decompress the incompressible fluid as filling a separate compressible fluid in the closed part; a piston rod(400) having the first piston in one side and a second connecting ring(520), and penetrating the opening. The inside of the cylinder of the shock absorber in a suspension system of a vehicle is changed, so damping effect is changed. A special control apparatus is not necessary and fuel efficiency is improved by decreasing weight of a vehicle.
