COLOR TONE CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A color tone converter is provided to solve unnaturalness of a picture and flickering in the event of conversion of color tone. CONSTITUTION: A color tone converter includes the first and second signal processor and a color tone output unit. The first signal processor delays an average value of effective pixels calculated in fields from a color signal having three-dimensional coordinate values and effective pixels output from a value obtained by multiplying the average value by a predetermined coefficient by a predetermined number of fields. The second signal processor delays the color signal output from the first signal processor by a predetermined number of fields to correspond to a rapid variation in the color signal. The color tone output unit combines the color signal output from the second signal processor with a target color signal inputted from the outside to output a converted color signal.
