The dummy is designed to balance the underpressure in the mouth and pharynx during sucking with the outside pressure. When first unpacked the dummy initiates an aging process leading in time to a parent-alerting change. The dummy has a rim-reinforced opening (3) in the mouth part to facilitate internal cleaning. The dummy comes with air in (1) and out (2) openings.
