A keyboard (14) for a mobile radio terminal (11) is disclosed, situated outside the device housing and which may be connected to the mobile radio terminal. In particular, a keyboard (14) for a mobile radio terminal (11) is disclosed, whereby the above is a watch telephone (10) with a wriststrap (15) and the dimension of the keyboard (14) match those of the watch telephone (10). The operation of a watch telephone (10) is simplified by means of said additional external keyboard (14). The external keyboard is fixed to the wriststrap and connected to the terminal either by cable or by radio.
