A PC terminal (1) connects to a LAN (12) via its H.323 interface (11) as a proxy client (10). Two other terminals (2,3) connect to the LAN as clients. All terminals (1-3) connect to a monitoring unit (5) linked in turn via a T server (6) and a CSTA3 interface to a representative unit (7) with an associated database (8) to store activated call diversions transferred to the representative unit from the terminals via the monitoring unit and the T server.
