摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A wastewater and sewage treatment system using multichannel oxidation ditch is provided to efficiently remove nitrogen and phosphorus with excellent buffering against loading rate changes of wastewater, though not occupying as large site area as conventional single channel oxidation ditch. CONSTITUTION: The multichannel oxidation ditch system comprises an oxidation ditch(1) consisting of 1st channel(2) of which DO is controlled between 0 and 0.5 mg/l, 2nd channel(3) of which DO is controlled between 1 and 1.5 mg/l and 3rd channel(4) of which DO is controlled between 2 and 3 mg/l; a clarifier(10) from which a portion of collected sludge is returned to 1st channel through a sludge return line(14) and the rest is discharged through a sludge drainage(16); and a rotor(5) for surface aeration. The multichannel oxidation ditch system is characterized in that all channels are opened one another at one lower part of one side thereof.</p>
