SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of drawing wire in several passes through drawing dies until total deformation degree equal to (60-80)%; performing wire drawing at normalized unit of deformation; then alternating wire drawing and sign-variable deformation until achieving necessary dimension; realizing sign-variable deformation at curvature radius (ρ) of wire selected according to condition: ρ=(20-25)dw, where dw - wire diameter, mm; before coiling wire onto reel cooling it until (90-120)C. Invention provides activation of additional sliding planes, stable counter tension in deformation zone. EFFECT: stable increased strength and plastic properties of wire. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
