The combined paint pourer, brush wipe and brush rest is disclosed. The invention is an integrally formed plastic member consisting of a removable ring (20) that snap fits into the open end of a paint can. The walls of the ring (20) extend vertically and shape to form a spout (22) at the front of the paint can and a recessed tab (23) at the rear. The left and right sides of the wall are joined by a ramp (24), which tapers towards the spout (22) and forms a rounded opening (25). This ramp (24) acts as a brush wipe. A paint brush can be rested with its bristles on the ramp (24) and its handle supported by the recessed tab (23). With the paint can held in a pouring position, the ramp (24), with its rounded opening (25) acts as a dam and meters the flow of liquid to the spout (22). The device is fitted to the paint can by applying downward pressure until the device locks into place. |
