SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of combined synthesis of 1-ethyl-2- - alkylidenealumacyclopentanes of the general formula (1) and 1-ethyl-2-methylene-3- alkylalumacyclopentanes of the general formula (2) where R is n-C6H13, n-C8H17 and characterized by that alkylalkylene of the general formula R-=. where R as determined above is subjected for interaction with triethylaluminum (Et3Al) in the mole ratio R-=.= : Et3AlCl2 = 10: (10-14), respectively, in the presence of catalyst zirconacene dichloride (Cp2ZrCl2) taken in the amount 2-6 mole % with respect to alkylalkylene in hexane medium. Reaction is carried out in argon atmosphere, at the room temperature (~20 C) and under normal pressure for 8-12 h. The proposed method of synthesis can be used in industrial organic synthesis, in part, in polymerization processes where the synthesized compounds act as catalysts.
