PURPOSE: A structure of a combustion chamber is provided to more effectively and maximally utilize the combustion pressure in a combustion chamber by obtaining additional power by using the combustion pressure applied to the side of a cylinder liner. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a combustion chamber comprises a sub cylinder(6) horizontally protruded from both sides of the upper part of a cylinder(2) to be symmetrical, a sub combustion chamber which is formed at the upper part of the sub cylinder and whose one side is communicated with a combustion chamber(1) of the cylinder and the other side is closed, a sub crank shaft(7) installed at the closed side of the sub combustion chamber to be rotatable and penetrating the sub cylinder parallel with a crank shaft(3), a sub piston(8) performing the reciprocation movement in the sub combustion chamber in horizontal direction, and a sub connecting rod(9) connecting the sub crank shaft and the sub piston.
