The invention relates to a method for adjusting the phase-locking loop (10) of an electronic evaluation device (8) which evaluates the output signal of a sensor device (3), especially a rotation rate sensor which uses the Coriolis effect, with an oscillating mass. In addition to said phase-locking loop (10), the electronic evaluation device (8) has a control loop (20), such as especially, a quadrature control loop. The control loop is provided with a controller (22) which has an input and an output, as well as with a modulator or mixer (23) which has an input, the input of said modulator or mixer having a first electrical connection to the output of the controller (22). The invention provides that in order to reduce the percentage of manufactured sensor devices that cannot be adjusted, said first electrical connection (RL QH=0) between the output of the controller (22) and the input of the mixer (23) is separated and a second electrical connection (RL QH=1) between the output of the controller (22) and the input of the mixer (23) is initiated, said second electrical connection incorporating the in-series connection of an attenuating mechanism (42).
