STABILIZER PROTECTION DEVICE FOR DISCHARGE LAMP

PURPOSE: A stabilizer protection device for discharge lamp is provided to prevent a damage of an electronic stabilizer due to a sudden voltage by sensing a current flowing in an output transformer to cut off an AC(alternative current) circuit in an input side of a stabilizer with a relay operation. CONSTITUTION: An operation junction point(1) of a relay(Ry) is connected with one side of an exciting coil(4). A fixing junction point(3) of the relay(Ry) is connected with a minus output part of a bridge diode(5) and the exciting coil(4) of the relay(Ry) is connected with a plus output part of the bridge diode(5). A Zener diode(10) becomes turn-on state by a voltage rise of a sensing coil(14). The Zener diode(10) senses an instant high current generated on both sides of a lamp in case the lamp doesn't be turned on, and excites the relay(Ry) to cut off a supply power.
