The invention relates to a method for producing preforms, which are subsequently taken from a stock, reheated in a heating section and then blown in a blow-mould to obtain finished containers. The invention is characterised in that a plastic tube, which is extruded from an extruder head in a warm plastic state, is received section by section in the preform blow-mould and is blown to obtain a preform. The wall thickness of the blown preform can be optimally adapted to the shape of the finished container. The thickness profile can be optimised both axially and radially in a simple manner. |
