The invention relates to a method for impregnating an object having pores by applying a liquid, heat-hardenable impregnating agent that is substantially free from water-soluble fractions in the pores, washing off the excess impregnating agent from the surface with water and hardening the impregnating agent by heating the impregnated object, wherein washing in performed in a first washing bath and an additional rinsing bath, wherein one or several surface active agents are added to the rinsing bath water and the washings are carried out in the washing bath with water that is substantially free from surface active agents or that contains less surface active agents than the rinsing bath water. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method. |
