The circuit has a refill container (2) with refill (3) and return pipes (6), and adjusting member (5) controlled dependent upon circuit volume (4). Pipes and member are adjusted relative to each other, so that if required, the oil flow through the refill pipe is larger than that through the return pipe. The return pipe contains a flow throttle (8), and lubricant is almost continuously branched-off the circuit through the return line, and fed into the refill container. A collector (10) is positioned under a lubrication point (9) of the engine (1), to collect any lubricant drips (7) for return to the return pipe.
