METHOD OF VAPORIZING LIQUIDS BY MICROWAVE HEATING

A method for vaporizing a liquid in a microwave evaporator (19) by slowly evaporating the liquid from a liquid phase to a vapor phase below the boilin g point of the liquid; and applying an effective amount of microwave generated by magnetron (21) to maintain the slow evaporation of the liquid to produce a purified liquid. The amount of liquid in the evaporator is monitored by a level transmitter (13) and controlled by a combination of controller (14) an d control valves (12) and (16).
