<p>An elongate, elastomeric fastener (13, 19) includes a head (13) and barrel section (19). The fastener may be installed into a hole (12) in a panel (11) by stretching by the elastomeric, elongated portion reducing diameter so that it passes through the hole (12) and fastens by releasing the force on the fastener (13, 19) allowing gripping around the hole (12). In yet a further embodiment, a central push-pin (35) may be used to apply an axial force on the fastener which is required to operate the fastener (13, 19).</p> |
