A black approximation data generating means (4) generates black approximation data (R3, G3, B3), or data involving chromaticity provided when black is displayed by an image displaying means (3), a black correcting means (2A) subtracts subtracting data (R4, G4, B4) having the same values as the black approximation data (R3, G3, B3) from image data (R1, G1, B1) after input processing to calculate after-black-correction image data (R2, G2, B2), and the image displaying means (3) emits light according to the values of after-black-correction data (R2, G2, B2) to thereby perform an image display processing on a preset image screen.</p> |
