PURPOSE: A diluent for stabilization of an enzyme-labeled antibody is provided, thereby increasing the stability of the enzyme-labeled antibody used for enzyme immunoassay. CONSTITUTION: A diluent for stabilization of an enzyme-labeled antibody essentially contains calcium ion and 15% or less of fetal bovine serum, wherein the content of the calcium ion is 0.001% or more. The diluent for stabilization of an enzyme-labeled antibody is a 10mM tris buffer solution having pH 7.5 and containing 0.01 to 0.1% of CaCl2, 1 to 5% of fetal bovine serum, 5% goat serum, 0.02% of thimerosal, 0.05% of tween-20, 1mM of EDTA and 0.5M NaCl.
